Mr. Walton is a Partner and Head of the Ares Energy Group. He joined the Firm in 2006.
Mr. Walton serves on the Ares Private Equity Group's Corporate Opportunities Investment Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of EPIC Midstream Holdings, LP, Salt Creek Midstream LLC, and Verdad Resources Holdings LLC.
Mr. Walton holds a B.A. from Princeton University in Politics and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
