EPIC NGL

EPIC NGL is a fully integrated NGL system consisting of nearly 1,100 miles of y-grade, ethane, propane, normal butane, isobutane, and natural gasoline pipelines, and fractionation facilities providing critical products supply to petrochemical companies, refineries, and export markets across the Texas Gulf Coast from Corpus Christi to Sweeny, TX.

Over 700 miles of y-grade pipeline with a current nameplate capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, expandable up to 650,000 barrels per day, connects rich gas processing plants in the Permian Basin in West Texas and New Mexico and the Eagle Ford play in South Texas to EPIC’s Robstown Fractionation Complex.

The Robstown Fractionation Complex, near Corpus Christi, Texas, has a nameplate capacity of 170,000 barrels per day and includes EPIC’s BTT1 fractionator, in-service since June 2020, and its RTF fractionator.

Corpus Christi and the surrounding area provide a robust and mature market for purity products including numerous petrochemical companies, refiners, and export markets. EPIC owns and operates over 200 miles of product pipelines connecting the Robstown Fractionation Complex to ethane crackers, refineries, and both LPG and natural gasoline export terminals from Corpus Christi, TX to Sweeny, TX providing critical feedstock to meet domestic and international energy demands.

Completed at the end of 2021, the 165-mile Sweeny Lateral connects the Robstown Fractionation Complex to the Sweeny fractionation and storage complex, which include Phillip 66 and Chevron Phillips Company, providing a strategic advantage to transport and fractionate NGL volumes in both locations as well as storage positions in Sweeny for both y-grade and purity products.
